PAFSO is extremely pleased and relieved that Robert Fowler and Louis Guay are now safely in Canadian hands and will shortly be back home in Canada. We are very grateful to the many who assisted in their safe release. Welcome home!
Louis Guay is a present member of PAFSO, and Robert Fowler is a past PAFSO member and present member of the Retired Heads of Mission Association (RHOMA).They, as well as their families, were often in our thoughts during their harrowing ordeal. Many of PAFSO’s members serving abroad in dangerous postings experience similar, though thankfully usually less acute, stress of this sort. We take this opportunity to also wish strength and courage to them and their families.
