All FS officers should have received the notice referred to above. While PAFSO does have issues with the area of selection and the deployment process being conducted at the same time, we would encourage all FS officers at the FS-01 level to apply for both the FS-02 and FS-03 level positions. PAFSO would also encourage all FS-02 officers to apply for the FS-03 level positions regardless of whether you are eligible for a promotion to the FS-03 level as a result of the transitional measure. The deadline for receipt of application is February 12, 2007 and we would encourage you to “clearly demonstrate in your application with supporting documents how you meet the essential criteria of education and experience (including acting assignments, e.g. length and level, performance assessments if any).
