Early Retirement Incentive
The Budget Implementation Act 2025 has received Royal Assent, putting the Early Retirement Incentive program into effect. The deadline to apply is July 24, 2026.
It is important to remember that even if you meet the criteria for ERI, the Deputy Heads have discretion on whether to accept an employee’s request to depart under the program and there is no guarantee that they will do so.
