The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) has partnered with SEASONOVA to develop an approach to identify the training needs of our membership with regards to bystander intervention to address workplace harassment and related workplace discrimination, both in a traditional and virtual workspace.
We are seeking eight volunteers for a two-hour bilingual focus group on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 1000 to share your perspectives on the topics of workplace harassment and discrimination for the purpose of conducting a training needs assessment to contribute to a prevention approach. This online focus group will be facilitated and will include an opportunity to provide feedback on the draft online survey that will be distributed to all PAFSO members regarding the same topics with the same purposes of prevention and workplace transformation.
Kindly confirm your participation by noon on August 14, 2020 by completing the following registration form: https://forms.gle/HhMnqnarLRG7neoN8
The registration provides an opportunity for participants to provide consent, and to respond to the following questions so that SEASONOVA has a better sense of your needs. Your information will be kept confidential and only used for the purposes of the focus group.
- What accessibility needs do you want us to be aware of (e.g., visual, hearing, mobility considerations)?
- What remote work needs do we need to be aware of (e.g., children/pets at home, time of day, access to technology)?
Please note the length and time of your session as well as the preparations below:
- The two-hour virtual session will take place on Friday, August 21, at 1000.
- We confirm with you by 17 August and will provide the questions, as well as the draft survey, in both official languages 48 hours prior to the focus group session.
If we have more participants than we need, we will take the first eight and put the rest on a waiting list. Should you have further questions, feel free to contact email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
