On behalf of its 1,350 members, the Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers expresses its deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the yesterday’s bombings in Boston. Our thoughts are with those who have been affected by this senseless and cowardly act of violence.
The top priority of the Foreign Service is to serve Canada and Canadians abroad. Due to this emergency, all job action measures in Boston were immediately suspended yesterday afternoon to ensure that Canadians receive the support they need.
